Went to Sawarna, Banten, west of Palabuhan Ratu, with the usual crowd last July. It took about 7 hours to get here from Jakarta but I tell ya, it's worth it! Here are some shots taken from the trip..

we (sort of) got lost on our way there. instead of turning east at Bayah we went further west toward Malingping. but getting lost doesn't mean losing any photo ops, right.. so before going back the same road we stop and took a few shots.

kuta lombok

ke lombok pertengahan bulan maret. judulnya mo leyeh2 sambil ngetes kamera baru pleus ngetes ND grad singh ray yang gua beli dari jaman kapan tapi belom pernah dipake itu. sebelum pegi udah kebayang dong, mo motret kaya apa.. cita-cita pokonya mo maen long exposure ditambah singh ray..

nyampe di kuta dengan berbekal tripod gua yang super heavy itu, i found out i left my tripod plate on my old camera! blah! langsung bad mood, bad mood, bad mood.. buyar semua lah semua long exposure itu kan.. jadi yah, back to basic lah.. but i did try out the singh ray, sembari tiap abis motret kepikiran "hhh... kalo pake tripod gua bisa motret kaya begini, kalo pake tripod gua bisa motret kaya begitu..".

kesimpulan? kudu balik deui euy....!!!!

if only gua udah motret waktu di sana ya.. i could just imagine all those colorful balloons, the lake, the reflection, the always-beautiful-sky.. hhh....

but! i'm in jakarta now. gotta make do with what i've got, right.. so.. it's balon udara di sentul :)

kayanya gua ngga pernah bisa nyelesai-in travel post gua ya..

semuanya cuma sampe di bagian (1) doang.. bromo cuman sekali. cambodia juga. padal masih banyak foto dan cerita yang gua pengen taro di sini.

Bromo Adventure nomer dua - hari 1

Ngga seperti jalan-jalan pertama di bulan Februari '08, kali ini kita nyampe di Bromo waktu masih sore. Ini diambil sekitar jam 5an di jalan menuju Bromo

Oh, did I tell you that it was a full moon night? We could actually see the moon in all its beauty waktu masih sore. Ini dari Java Banana Cafe, tempatnya Pak Sigit yang galeri fotonya bikin ngiler itu..

Nyampe di Cemoro Lawang, cek in di Lava View, beres-beres, langsung motret dari depan hotel. Cuaca bagus banget, man...... I am so blessed... Di langit banyak bintang.. wiiiiiiihhhh... maklum lah, namanya juga orang tinggal di jakarta. jarang-jarang bisa liat bintang.

wah, hasil jalan-jalan gua ke Phnom Penh dan Siem Reap udah lewat lama tapi lupa gua taro di mer and her wanderlust yah.. daripada daripada mendingan mendingan, toh.. so here it is..

Phnom Penh - the Grand Palace. Ini fotonya diambil dari istana ke arah Victory Gate yang menghadap ke sungai Tonle Sap.

wih, cinta gua ama detail arsitekturnya.. ini masih di Grand Palace juga.
kalo ngga salah some sort of a hall within the palace complex. i think it's for dance/performances gituan deh.

Masih dari kompleks Grand Palace, tapi di bagian Silver Pagoda. what can I say, I love the roof details.. Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky - Rabindranath Tagore.

Shot this when i was actually waiting for sunrise over borobudur. It was such a cloudy morning, couldn't get any good shot of what i wanted. I took this instead, not bad laah..

This is taken from "The Peak", i think it's supposed to be one of the highest place in Hong Kong. I went here on my first day in Hong Kong.

Being an indonesian, I just assume that the sun sets at about the same time as in Indo: 6pm, and the weather felt just like in Indo, hot and humid.

Got there at about 4. Had burger king for lunch at the peak, where everything was upgraded (without permission) to fuckin' huge that even i, who had not have anything to eat all day, couldn't finish it.

Walked around the platform, took pictures, walked around the shops, walked to the lion's point, took more pictures, walked around some more, had a cigarette, a cup of coffee, more cigarettes, and it's still as bright as when i arrived. Apparently the sun sets at about 8pm in this region.

The view is worth the wait though..
