Went to Sawarna, Banten, west of Palabuhan Ratu, with the usual crowd last July. It took about 7 hours to get here from Jakarta but I tell ya, it's worth it! Here are some shots taken from the trip..

we (sort of) got lost on our way there. instead of turning east at Bayah we went further west toward Malingping. but getting lost doesn't mean losing any photo ops, right.. so before going back the same road we stop and took a few shots.

love the rocks detail there.. it's like we're on another planet. not exactly on the shores of despair as my title suggested.. as usual, i was trying to be dramatic :)

kuta lombok

ke lombok pertengahan bulan maret. judulnya mo leyeh2 sambil ngetes kamera baru pleus ngetes ND grad singh ray yang gua beli dari jaman kapan tapi belom pernah dipake itu. sebelum pegi udah kebayang dong, mo motret kaya apa.. cita-cita pokonya mo maen long exposure ditambah singh ray..

nyampe di kuta dengan berbekal tripod gua yang super heavy itu, i found out i left my tripod plate on my old camera! blah! langsung bad mood, bad mood, bad mood.. buyar semua lah semua long exposure itu kan.. jadi yah, back to basic lah.. but i did try out the singh ray, sembari tiap abis motret kepikiran "hhh... kalo pake tripod gua bisa motret kaya begini, kalo pake tripod gua bisa motret kaya begitu..".

kesimpulan? kudu balik deui euy....!!!!

kemaren ada balon udara di sentul. reminds me so much of canberra..

if only gua udah motret waktu di sana ya.. i could just imagine all those colorful balloons, the lake, the reflection, the always-beautiful-sky.. hhh....

but! i'm in jakarta now. gotta make do with what i've got, right.. so.. it's balon udara di sentul :)
